Features

Built for the way you actually cook

The AI, personalization, and tracking that a quick chatbot prompt cannot give you.

Add an item; AI fills expiry, nutrition, and servings.
Smart capture

Add an item, AI fills in the rest

Scan a barcode, snap a receipt, speak, or add by hand. Plamaco fills in the expiry, nutrition, and serving sizes, so your pantry stays accurate without the busywork.

  • AI-suggested expiry and nutrition
  • Serving sizes so recipes scale right

AI recipes

AI recipes you can actually shape

Generate a recipe from what you already have, then make it yours. Every recipe is structured around its core ingredients, and you can refine it by tap or by voice.

  • Core ingredients, not a wall of text
  • Refine by tap or voice, then save
Log a meal by voice or text; AI works out the macros.
Effortless logging

  • One shared pantry, so nobody double-buys
  • One cookbook, cook from either phone
  • One shopping list for whoever is out
  • Your nutrition stays private to you
Why Plamaco

Why not just ask ChatGPT?

Today's AI chatbots are genuinely good, and they even remember you now. But they cannot see your kitchen, and the best of Plamaco needs no AI at all.

A general AI chatbot

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and the rest

  • Even with memory, it cannot see what is in your kitchen
  • No barcode, receipt, or voice scanning into an inventory
  • You prompt and copy-paste your way through every step
  • No food log or macro dashboard that builds over time
  • Full access is around ~$20 a month

Plamaco

Built for your pantry and your goals

  • Knows your pantry and fridge, and updates them as you cook
  • Add items by barcode, receipt, voice, or by hand
  • Suggests meals you can make right now, no AI needed
  • Macro tracking with eat-back, kept over time
  • Free to use, with Pro from $9.99 a month

The free version is the real deal. Tracking your pantry, finding what you can cook right now, logging meals, and following your macros all work with no AI at all. The AI is a bonus on top, not the point.

Free first, always

Plamaco is, and always will be, free to use.

The only part I cannot offer for free is the AI. Each recipe and scan runs on AI models and servers that genuinely cost money to keep running, so those features live in Pro.

Going Pro helps cover that and lets me keep making Plamaco more personal to you. The launch price is my small thank-you to early believers. I hope you grab it while it lasts.

About

Why I built Plamaco

Hi, I'm Kamal. I care a lot about eating well and staying healthy, but let's be real, keeping up with it was always more of a hassle than it should be.

No matter how many apps I tried for meal ideas or macro tracking, none of them were built for how I actually cook. I wanted something that knew what was already in my pantry and fridge, suggested recipes from my go-to meals, and on the slump days with no inspiration, could generate something new with AI. All of it within my macro goals, my tastes, the cuisines I go back to, and the cookware I have on hand.

It had to be easy to use, and most importantly, not too pricey. I mean, come on, I'm not gonna pay for another ChatGPT wrapper!!

Nothing did all of that. So I built one.
