1. Acceptance of Terms
Plamaco is a pantry, nutrition, and recipe application ('Plamaco', 'we', 'us'). By creating an account or using Plamaco (the 'Service'), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who Can Use Plamaco
You must be 18 or older to subscribe to a paid plan or otherwise enter into this agreement on your own. If you are under 18, you may use Plamaco only with the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian. Plamaco is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow them to create an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Please tell us at support@plamaco.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
3. What Plamaco Does
Plamaco helps you manage your pantry and nutrition and discover or generate recipes, with AI powering some features. With your permission, Plamaco can also read your activity from Apple Health on iOS or Health Connect on Android to adjust your daily calorie target. The Service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis, and we may change or discontinue features over time.
4. AI-Generated Content
Plamaco uses AI to suggest recipes, meals, and nutritional estimates. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or unsuitable for you. Always use your own judgment and check anything important before relying on it. We do not guarantee the accuracy or suitability of AI-generated content.
5. Health, Nutrition, and Food Safety
Plamaco is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Nutritional values, calorie estimates, and dietary suggestions are for general information only and are not a substitute for advice from a doctor or registered dietitian. Plamaco cannot verify allergens or dietary suitability, so if you have allergies or restrictions you must check every food and recipe yourself. Expiration and freshness indicators are estimates only. When in doubt about whether a food is safe, throw it out. You are responsible for the safety of the food you prepare and eat.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Plamaco offers a free tier and a paid subscription ('Pro'). - New accounts receive a free Pro trial with no payment required; its length is shown in the app. When the trial ends, your account moves to the free tier unless you subscribe. - Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play and billed to your store account. The price and billing period, for example monthly or yearly, are shown in the app before you confirm and may vary by region. - Your subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. - Payments, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. We generally cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly, so please contact the store for refund requests. - The free tier includes usage limits on certain AI features, which we may adjust over time.
7. Your Content
You keep ownership of the content you add to Plamaco, such as photos, pantry items, and notes. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and process that content for the sole purpose of operating and improving the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload what you submit and that it is lawful.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use Plamaco for any unlawful purpose; attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorized to; reverse engineer or disrupt the Service; use bots or scrapers; or resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission.
9. Intellectual Property
Plamaco, including its name, design, and software, is owned by us and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.
10. Third-Party Services
Plamaco relies on third-party services, including the Apple App Store and Google Play, and the hosting, infrastructure, and AI providers that run the Service. Your use of the Service depends on those providers, and we are not responsible for their acts, availability, or content.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAMACO IS PROVIDED 'AS IS' AND 'AS AVAILABLE' WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information it provides is accurate.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAMACO WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING RELIANCE ON NUTRITIONAL, FOOD-SAFETY, OR AI-GENERATED CONTENT. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to cover any claims, losses, or costs that arise from your misuse of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or the law.
14. Termination
You can stop using Plamaco and delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm others or us. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability, will continue to apply.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a problem, please first contact us at support@plamaco.com so we can try to resolve it. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Plamaco after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
